Thank you for considering Sabal Palm Montessori. We look forward to welcoming children and adolescents ages 3–18 into an authentic and inclusive Montessori learning community in Kissimmee, Florida.
Our admissions process is structured to help families understand our educational philosophy and determine whether Sabal Palm Montessori is the right environment for their child.
Admissions Process
- Submit an Inquiry
Complete our online inquiry form to tell us about your child, the program you are interested in, and your preferred enrollment timeline. A member of our admissions team will contact you with additional information and next steps.
- Attend a School Tour or Information Session
Prospective families will be invited to attend a school tour, open house, or information session. This is an opportunity to learn about Montessori education, explore our programs, meet members of our school community, and ask questions.
- Complete an Application
Families who wish to continue the admissions process will submit a completed application and any required application or registration fee. The application will request information about the student’s educational background, developmental needs, interests, strengths, and previous school experience.
- Family and Student Meeting
Depending on the student’s age and program level, the admissions process may include a family meeting, student visit, classroom observation, developmental readiness review, or conversation with members of the educational team.
These meetings help us understand the student as an individual and determine how our prepared Montessori environment can best support the student’s growth.
- Submit Required Records
Before enrollment can be finalized, families may be asked to provide documents such as:
- Birth certificate or other proof of age
- Immunization and school health records
- Previous school records or transcripts
- Academic assessments or progress reports
- Individualized Education Program, accommodation plan, or relevant support documentation, when applicable
- Custody or guardianship documents, when applicable
- Emergency contact and authorized pick-up information
Additional documents may be required based on the student’s age, program, or applicable Florida requirements.
- Enrollment Decision
After the admissions review is complete, families will receive an enrollment decision or information about placement on a waiting list.
Admission and classroom placement are based on several considerations, including program availability, the developmental needs of the student, classroom balance, and the school’s ability to provide an appropriate learning environment.
- Complete Enrollment
Families who receive an enrollment offer will be provided with an enrollment agreement and instructions for completing registration. Enrollment is finalized only after all required forms, agreements, records, and applicable payments have been received.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition varies by program and schedule. A complete tuition and fee schedule will be provided to families before they are asked to accept an enrollment offer or sign an enrollment agreement.
Potential charges may include tuition, a registration fee, and program-specific costs disclosed in advance. Families will receive clear information regarding payment schedules, deadlines, withdrawal terms, and refund policies.
Scholarships and Financial Assistance
Sabal Palm Montessori intends to help families understand available scholarship and financial-assistance opportunities, including eligible Florida education scholarship programs.
Scholarship awards, when available, may be applied toward the student’s tuition obligation according to the applicable program requirements and the school’s financial policies. Eligibility, award amounts, and payment timelines are determined by the scholarship organization or funding program and are not guaranteed by the school.
Inclusive Admissions
Sabal Palm Montessori values the strengths, experiences, identities, and abilities each student brings to the community. We welcome conversations with families about a child’s learning style, developmental needs, educational history, and existing support services.
Sharing complete and accurate information allows the school and family to thoughtfully determine whether the program can provide an appropriate and supportive educational experience.
Age and Program Placement
Students are considered for placement within the following Montessori program levels:
- Children’s House | Ages 3–6
- Lower Elementary | Ages 6–9
- Upper Elementary | Ages 9–12
- Middle School/Erdkinder | Ages 12–18
